The Jamie Kennedy Experiment

The WB (ended 2004)

Show Summary

  • Ended
In this half-hour series, affectionately nicknamed JKX, actor/comedian Jamie Kennedy combines hidden-camera pranks with sketch comedy to see how everyday people-- and some celebrities-- behave in unusual situations. Jamie appears in a wide variety of disguises, getting his "marks" involved in an equally wide variety of bizarre predicaments. When a joke has run its course, Jamie delivers the show's immortal tag line: YOU'VE BEEN X-ED! Each skit is presented in front of an audience, either in-studio or on location, and sometimes Jamie brings his marks on as special guests after presenting a segment. After three seasons, JKX ended its original run in the spring of 2004. The entire series is available on DVD, with each season having its own box set. I don't have many episode reviews up right now, but I am planning to write more in the coming weeks. Now that I no longer have a co-editor for season three, I will be also revising (or more appropriately, redoing) the entries for the last several episodes of the series. DISCLAIMER: I am not affiliated with the show, its cast, or the WB network. I am just a fan who wanted to do a good episode guide for this truly underappreciated series. I don't know whether Jamie or anyone else connected to the show reads this guide or the Viewer Comments. That said, I hope you enjoy the guide and have as much fun reading it as I have editing it. Thank you for visiting! For more info about the show, check the "Links" section on the left-hand side of this page. The Jamie Kennedy Experiment was produced by Bahr Small Productions and Karz Entertainment, in association with Warner Brothers Television Productions and Big Ticket Television, A Paramount/Viacom Company.moreless

jamie kenned experment is like a show like punked but diffrent . they bring celbs on the show like punked and make funny things happen to them. it was really funny at times and brought a huge sortment of celbs on the show in each ep and the show was also sorta like hidden camra. the show did not last that long becasue it did start to go down hill after two years and it got tiring. so that is why i gave the show a 7 and jamie kennedy left the show to do movies it was a ok show just did not last.moreless

jamie kennedy is pretty funny in this show, and the guy WITH jamie is alright, but this show seems a little predictable. Like when jamie's friend was in ice t's dressing room, i just KNEW ice T would come around the corner and catch him. But overall this show is kinda funny, the plot is crazy. Got a corny white guy tryin to be a rapper.
