The Kaiser Aluminum Hour was a live drama show broadcast once a
fortnight between 1956 and 1957. With a different teleplay in each
episode there was a mixture of serious and light-hearted drama. The show
featured many well-known, and some not so well-known, actors and
actresses including, in an early TV role, Paul Newman, William Shatner,
Jacqueline Scott, Larry Gates, Alexander Scourby and Van Dyke Parks, and
"Planet of The Apes," "Patton" and "Papilion" director, Franklin J.
Schaffner directed three episodes.
