The program featured guest stars from Broadway and Hollywood with an entertaining variety program filled with sketches, songs and dance. Produced by Ted Collins the series lasted only one season (39 episodes) and was the television debut of singer Josephine Baker and the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. Kate opened her show with "God Bless America".
