The Keegans

Show Summary

The Keegans was a series about an Irish-American family named the Keegans. The pilot focused on their lives and their struggle for justice. The father of the family is Tim Keegan (Tom Clancy), who works on the docks. His son Larry Keegan (Adam Roarke) is a magazine reporter, and his brother Pat (Spencer Milligan) plays professional football. Brandy is the daughter, played by Heather Menzies, who wants to become a model someday. Joan Leslie plays Mom Keegan, but she was barely a guest star in the pilot, as was Judd Hirsch, who played a police lieutenant. The daughter Brandy was brutally attacked by a man, and when the man is later murdered, the suspicion falls on Pat, the professional football player brother. Now Larry is on a mission to investigate the case, hoping to clear his brother Pat's name and prove he didn't kill the man, who was found to be tied in with the syndicate. The Keegans never took off as a series, but director John Badham showed his directorial skills which brought him into movies like Saturday Night Fever and Blue Thunder.moreless
