The "Customer" sketch was filmed in pieces in front of a live audience, and was put together in front of them to show how sketches are put together for television. It was a lesson for an audience that was mostly comprised of film and theater students.
The "Cops" sketches were filmed over the course of two days in several areas of Canada, while waiting for the rest of the cast to show up from New York and film the "On The Run" sketch.
"The Parrot" sketch was a cheap slap in the face to all the old BBC and CBC comedies the group had to watch in their youth.
After the "Queer Nation" sketch, Scott was given hell in a New York club one night by Andrew Dice Clay for his jokes.
