Doug and Carrie get involved with church activities and Carrie signs up to bake a cake for the church bake sale, but ends up buying a cake from a bakery. Doug wants her to bake the cake like another member's wife. Instead of using the bought cake, Doug and Carrie are up all night baking. After realizing baking isn't in the cards, they end up frosting a cake shaped pillow to enter into the bake sale.
The Arthur and Spence storyline is funny, but not nearly as good as Doug, Carrie, and the cake. This episode is HILARIOUS and one of my favorites. You will laugh at this episode, its a classic!!
