  • Christmas Review #57

A battle of who got the cheaper gift begins; Lou Ferrigno moves next door. I thought that this was an excellent Christmas episode of "The King of Queens". The storyline was well though out and there were some funny parts for fans like us to really enjoy. My score was just a little low because I didn't like how Carrie used the better camera and made Doug feel bad just the camera he gave her for Christmas wasn't awesome. Other than that, this episode was just all-around enjoyable to watch. It's not my favorite but it's pretty close and I really like it. Lou Ferrigno also guest starring as himself in this episode was hilarious and I loved how Arthur was trying to get him to read the script. The part that did make me laugh hard was when Doug said "Lou Ferrigno is right... we shouldn't be fighting on Christmas". A lot of more parts made me laugh but it was mainly from the Arthur/Lou Ferrigno plot though. Overall, an excellent Christmas episode of "The King of Queens" with some funny parts to really enjoy. 9.5/10moreless

I really like this episode because what looks like an innocent Christmas episode becomes Doug's worst nightmare when hell breaks loose. It all starts when Doug buys Carrie a camera & Doug buys a cheaper one for Kelly, once Carrie gets a better camera at her work, Doug says to get rid of his camera, so she does by giving it to Kelly, once Kelly finds out Deacon bought her a cheaper camera, she gets mad so Deacon tells Doug & Doug tells Carrie & Carrie tell Kelly, now everyone is fighting! While Doug buys another Christmas present for Carrie, an ugly sweater, she insults him so more fighting, more chaos lashes out when Arthur keeps on bothering the new neighbor, Lou with his screenplay which also makes him nuts. But at the end, presents don't matter, a lesson learned to an amazing episode.moreless
