King of Queens came to an eventful ending as Doug and Carrie's lives begin to change and Arthur is ready to get married. I really didn't expect any of this to be happening coming in watching the show.

King of Queens just didn't seems like the show to have a huge dramatic finale like it did here. Regardless, we got a great balance between comedy and drama. "I mean I've ordered Chinese before, but never a baby!" Definitely my favorite line of the episode.

Arthur's story line seemed rush. So his fiance only was marrying him cause she thought he was gay That seemed a little bit contrived. The talk of divorce was just too much. We all knew the two would settle their differences, even mentioning divorce was quite unsettling. Overall, this was a great episode, good lead-in to the finale.moreless

The King of Queens was the last live-action sitcom from the 1990's (the golden age of TV) to conclude its run. This finale was interesting, to say the least, but this was not the kind of goodbye that this great show deserved.

We should not have seen Arthur get married, nor should Doug and Carrie have adopted a Chinese baby. This is the kind of show that should have just had another episode as the finale, just a typical plot in the lives of Doug and Carrie. MASH needed a big farewell and it got one, this show did not.moreless

Doug and Carrie's marital tension continues, as they ponder whether they have a future together. Arthur and Ava's wedding day turns problematic. Wow, the ending to a perfect series. It's so sad to see it go. This episode was pretty good, though. I loved when Doug is walking down the aisle with Carrie at Arthur's wedding, and he just starts rushing ahead of her. Haha. Wow, I think this was a great way to lead into the very last episode. Hehe, Arthur getting married, and Doug wanting to leave Carrie because she kept an apartment. First off, how can she afford mortgage AND rent in Stuyvesant Towers?! Great episode, though.moreless

Doug and Carrie’s marriage is on the rocks but they need to put it a side to attend Arthur’s wedding to Ava, however nothing go’s right and in this first half of the season finale Ava walks out on Arthur, Danny has a new roomie and it’s a women, Holly is pregnant and on her own, Spence’s mum is now marring Arthur and Doug is drunk.

Some brilliant scene’s especially the Deacon Doug scene at the start with them both wrestling on the floor, Deacon having to do Arthur’s best man speech, Arthur thinking back to why Ava thought he was gay and Doug drunk around the back of the club wrestling with Spence.moreless
