Recurring Role |
When Doug first walks into the bedroom with his new cologne, he stands in front of the mirror. The shot flips between Carrie standing by the closet and Doug at the dresser, where you can see Carrie in the mirror behind him. Each time the camera angle switches, Carrie's expression in front of the closet is dramatically different than in the mirror reflection.
In episode 137, Carrie says they are newlyweds, and have been married 2 months when looking for their first house.
Doug and Carrie said it was their 10th anniversary on this episode. But in episode 137, which aired Jan. 7, 2004, Doug and Carrie flashed back ten years earlier when they bought their house, in 1994. They would be married at least 11 years by this episode, unless they lived together before they got married.
Carrie: So, if I went out and had an affair with someone, it'd be alright, as long as I washed afterwards?
Doug: Absolutely! I've assumed you've been doing that for years.
Doug: Why aren't I allowed to say the phrase, "for all intensive purposes?"
Carrie: Because it's "all intents and purposes," you moron!
Danny: Come up with a nickname for me!
Deacon: How about "Whiney Biatch?"
Arthur: He's rubbing it in my face, Douglas!
Doug: I don't know what "it" is, but I hope I'm upstairs before the rubbing starts.
The German episode title is "Duftnoten", meaning "Perfume Notes".
The episode title is a rhyming reference to the Lone Ranger movies.
