During the fantasy bar fight, the Priority Plus men are played by UFC fighters Randy Couture, Dan Henderson, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, and Frank Trigg.
During Doug's 'Matrix jump,' a wire is visible.
Doug gets his IPS truck stuck at a drive-thru at Rally's. However, Rally's is a name used by Checker's primarily for its stores in the Western part of the country, and in the NYC area all their restaurants operate under the Checker's name.
When Doug and Jack were talking in the Priority Plus truck, side shots of Doug showed a reflection behind him in storefront windows that was obviously not a delivery truck, but that of a Hollywood camera truck.
Carrie: Doug, did you see my blue camisol?
Doug: I'd be more help if I knew what a camisol was.
Jimmy: (on Priority Plus) They have quality service and competitive prices: how gay is that?
Gina: You got me a fake ID?
Carrie: That's what mentors do.
Arthur: (to Carrie) You're painted like a whore, and you're smoking cigarettes. The whore part I'm used to, but smoking'll kill you!
The German episode title is "Kampf der Giganten" (which it shares with season 3's "Paint Misbehavin'"), meaning "Battle of the Giants".
Adam Ferrara, who appeared as Priority Plus driver Jack, previously appeared as an IPS driver in "Entertainment Weakly."
In the Eastern and Central time zones this episode started late, at 8:20 ET/7:20 CT, due to a presidential address on immigration reform.
Though this episode featured Carrie warping the concept of mentoring youth, during its original broadcast CBS ironically ran a PSA with CSI: NY's Hill Harper touting the benefits of becoming a mentor.
Doug's fantasy about a barroom fight features an homage to The Matrix when he suspends in a midair at the center of a group of Priority Plus men.
The episode title is a play on the movie, Fight Club.
