Any thoughts about the first of the "last 7 new episodes"?

Carrie must have forgotten that the Palmers live in an apartment building. That's why Deacon could afford a summer home and they can't. Doug and Carrie own an actual house while Deacon and Kelly rent an apartment and now (own?) a cottage. I'm sure that the Heffernans could afford to rent an apartment which would even things up. By Carrie's logic, an apartment and a cottage is equal to a house and a cottage. Too bad Doug didn't have notice the discrepancy and tell her, they could have avoided the trouble.

I watch 24 (9-10pm) and I had to tape KoQ...but for some reason my stupid tape didn't start until 9:40 pm (10 mins late)

Is CBS going to put the episode up? Can I stream/download the first ten minutes...anything?

If not, (which I know there must be) I will just watch this episode w/o the first 10 mimns

If CBS doesn't give you another option, you could always download the episode; the last thing you need is to miss out on one of the last few episodes there will ever be.

Who would have guessed that actually airing a show would result in viewers actually watching it? Go figure.

Unfortunately it's already dead. They've already filmed and completed the series finale so I doubt that even great ratings would get it renewed. Anything's possible though, so everyone keep watching.

Who said she's leaving Doug? How can people still fall for those edited-for-drama trailers?

I love the episode, I thought it was so funny that at the end it was actually money from a botched boob job and something that Doug and Carrie mentioned.  One of the things I wonder about is what happened to the house that Deacon and Kelly was suppose to buy in the episode where Doug and Carrie wanted them to move next door.  That was never mentioned after that.  Do the writers think we don't pay attention or what?  I have noticed other episodes where things have happened and then it was never mentioned again.  I saw Jerry Stiller on The View and he was so great, I will miss him so much.  Thank God for reruns and DVD's -  .  I hope they have a great and happy ending, this is getting tough!

It won't get renewed. It was mutual decision on everyones' parts to end the show this year. They wanted to end last year, but were pursuaded in to a short 13 episode bow out.

Good point. That scene was probably from the first act and would be resolved by the end of the episode. Remember "Bed Spread" and "Nocturnal Omission"?

CBS was screwing KoQ for the past couple of seasons; moving it around, putting on hiatus and stuff. That's why Kevin said that it was relief to no longer wonder if they are coming back or not. I'm just glad we got a few more episodes to tie things up (although the season eight finale could have worked as well).

I hope that they have as many characters back at the end as possible. Richie, Holly, O'Boyle…Sara.
