When it comes to sitcoms all I watch is KOQ, That 70's, Seinfeld, Frasier, Fresh Prince, Cheers, News Radio, Steve Harvey, and occasionally Friends, My Wife and Kids or Drew Carey. So to see the last one of them finally stop producing new episodes it is defiantly depressing. 7th Heaven may not be a good show, or a sitcom but Biel/Mitchell are fine.

You should try Just Shoot Me! and Spin City, though they are hard to find on DVD, same as Drew Carey Show etc

Some shows like that aren't even on DVD yet or have released 1 Season and then stopped. King of Queens is fortunate because it does well in syndication on My9 and TBS, It has the first 7 seasons on DVD and only 2 more to go. KOQ will certainly be remembered long after it ends.

Drew is getting a DVD release for April, hope they keep the releases steady. Just Shoot Me! should get another one.

Yeah hopefully the first season of Drew Carey will get good enough sales to get a second season, only 8 more to go after the first, good luck. Just Shoot Me Seasons 1 and 2 was released mid 2004 and the sales weren't that great.

It's going to be a dark day when King of Queens ends. I love this show. It's so unappreciated. I can't believe crap like "How I met your Mother" and "2 and a Half Men" pull in better ratings(atleast I assume they do). The acting is what seperates it from most shows. Leah Remini, Kevin James, and Jerry Stiller are just so perfect in those roles that you really believe that's what they're like in real life.

I'm glad I found a King of Queens forum. It's my favorite show.

All my fave sitcoms were from the 90s:

    Frasier
    Raymond
    King Of Queens
    Friends
Seinfeld (yeah I know '89, but close enough!)
    The Simpsons
    King Of The Hill

    and many more...

Seinfeld is 90's, the definitive 90's sitcom even.

There goes the last of the funny-fat-guy-with-a-hot-wife sticom... and it takes my dream of such a life with it.

I don't understand why CBS is mismanaging this show. They should be celebrating its final season by ordering a full schedule.

CBS couldn't order a full 9th Season of 22 episodes because A) Kevin James was working on a new movie with Adam Sandler and B) CBS had no open timeslots for the show. They needed to split Jericho up in half to to make room for the first 6 episodes then move comedies around on Monday nights to accomodate the final 7 episodes. Atleast the show will get the proper finale it deserves.

KOQ is truly a great show. I had been watching ti in its earlier seasons but then it disappeared. I didn't forget about it, but I didn't realize how much I had liked it until they started making new episodes again. The feeling of nostalgia was huge. I'm honestly really sad that they're ending it. It was a good run.

I really hate reality tv. With the end of all the great sitcom's all I can say is Thank God for seasons on dvd to get us thru until the networks wake up.
