Sarah Silverman is funny, but unfortunately her humor is a bit too foul-mouthed and at times she is just flat out annoying, but I liked her sister Laura Silverman's few appearances on this show. She was the perfect uptight counterpart to this bizarre, free-spirited Carrie character that the writers conjured up in the later seasons.
Doug surprising her was pretty funny, but the end was the highlight of the night with Doug and Carrie getting stuck with an expensive gift from the gift tree. A nice example of how nothing works out for the Heffernan couple ever on this show.
