Carrie shakes the keys to the apartment with her left hand. Following a reaction shot of Doug, they're suddenly in her right hand.
Carrie dropped the pan of spaghetti all over the floor, and when Arthur walked into the kitchen, she scooped most of it up onto a plate, but she missed a lot of it. When she sets the plate on the table the floor is totally clean.
Spence: (playing basketball) You and Deacon against us isn't fair, man.
Doug: You didn't hear us cry when you kicked our ass at Pictionary.
Danny: At least give us an asthma break.
Spence: Would somebody tell Lord Dipwad that buying a house is a sound financial investment? You pay rent, you're just throwing money down a rat hole.
Danny: Yeah, well so was spending $1,000 on massage school.
Spence: Well, I didn't hear your feet complaining last night.
Arthur: I've got big news.
Carrie: If this is an eczema update, okay, I'm still reeling from last week.
Carrie: We can do it!
Doug: Huh?
Carrie: We can move to the city.
Doug: What about Arthur, remember him? Old guy, smells like cheese even when he hasn't had any.
George: Spooner, the concession stand is almost out of pudding. We're about five minutes from this place turning into Attica.
Arthur: What's the first thing that comes to mind when I say "lick my lollipop"?
Deacon: (hesitates) Uhh...no?
The shot of the exterior of Ava Sinclair's house is of the same house used in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air for the Banks' mansion.
Music: "There's No Business Like Show Business" (instrumental)
Ava's declaration that the people at the senior center "liked me, they really liked me," is a play on the misquoting of Sally Field's acceptance speech of her Oscar for Robert Benton's 1984 film Places in the Heart.
Doug refers to a slick-haired Arthur as "Greased Lightning," playing off the song from Grease.
