  • It was a pretty funny episode but not as good as in the past

I think the show is losing some of its luster. Still funny but inconsistent. They are making Doug dumber and Carrie and him fight way too much. They are also making some mistakes. As a fan that has seen every episode probably three times there a way too many inconsistencies. Like this episode when Carrie is complaining about her ring. They had a previous episode where her ring was worth alot of money becuase it was antique. they sell it an she picks out another one so she has no reason to complain about it in this episode.moreless

    • At Holly's party, after Carrie congratulates Holly and wishes her well, she orders a gin and tonic from the bartender. You can see the bartender is holding a bottle of Stolichnaya Vodka. Edit
    • Carrie complains about her engagement ring, but in an earlier episode we find out that Doug had found her a ring at an auction worth alot of money. They sell it and they both pick out a new ring. So she can't be upset with Doug for picking it because they both did. Edit

Holly: Didn't you tell me Doug gets a lot of parking tickets? Carrie: Well, that's different. Doug's just an idiot. Edit
    • Carrie: Did you ever have a friend whose life sucked so bad it made you feel better about your own? Holly: No. Carrie: Well, I did. It was you. Edit
