Episode Recap

IPS is still on strike as the episode begins. Carrie comes home to find that Doug is asleep and he slept the whole day. Doug left the room a mess showing how the strike is affecting him negativly. "According to this, Jesus is coming tomorrow," Arthur says when its only the mover. Doug shows up cleaned up and he ends up not shaving all the beard and lives his side-burns. Doug finds out that Deacon is in the same mindset as him. Carrie and Kelly are trying to find a way to get Doug and Deacon to do something. When they go to find them to tell them that dinner's ready, they're asleep on the bed.

Carrie forces Deacon, Doug, and Arthur together for the day. Deacon brought his kids also. They all sit in boredom watching the real estate channel for a while. They all take bets on what sound the animals will make on one of the toys the kids have. They then stay on the porch and mess with the people and then take their fun to the "streets."

Carrie and Kelly are surprised how good the good Deacon and Doug are looking. Doug, Deacon, and Arthur are all making bets on who can do what and Carrie stops them and questions them. Carrie and Kelly found out that idea of getting them together was bad. This is all happening as Doug is making jokes at the waiter. They mess with a police officer and Doug gets a phone call that the strike is over and they have to go back to work. While this is happening Arthur is directing cars into things to crash in. Arthur takes the strike ending in a very bad way. Doug shaves his face for the 1st day back to work. Arthur tries to apologize for his anger and said how much fun they had together. Arthur gets Doug to say that he will help him mess with the Pakistani family down the street right after dinner.
