  • Carrie throws Arthur a surprise party, but things go wrong as Arthur goes missing.

This episode was hilarious. I loved this episode. It was so well written by very creative and talented writers. I loved this whole episode and I could not stop laughing. It was so funny when those two men were fighting through the whole preparation for the party. It was so funny when they discovered Arthur had an affair with the man's wife. It was hilarious! It was also funny when Doug lost Arthur. I especially loved the end where they forget Arthur outside. It was so funny. This episode was definitely a series classic. This episode is another great installment to an already perfect series.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • When Arthur waits to be called in for his "surprise" party, he is pacing back and forth in front of the house, but this house doesn't even resemble the Heffernan house we see at the beginning of nearly every show.

  • QUOTES (2)

    • Carrie: Can you beleive he's turning 75? We should do something special.
Doug: Chip in for a hooker?

    • Carrie: (about Arthur) So you handshake him a few stuffed mushrooms. I've been doing it since I was a kid.
Doug: Oh, really? You know what, why stop there? You know, why don't I French kiss him Jell-O? That'll be good.

  • NOTES (1)

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • When Arthur is watching TV in his room and says "this Screech has painted himself into quite a corner," he is referring to the nerdy character played by Dustin Diamond on Saved by the Bell. Leah Remini had a role on that show for six episodes in 1991.
