      • Ernie Anastos is an actual New York City news reporter, however - 1) He is a news anchor who would not be out reporting from the street, and 2) While most famous for being the New York WABC-7 anchor in the 80s and early 90s (The channel 7 as seen on screen in the clip), he switched to WCBS in the late 90s and is currently news anchor for New York's Fox affiliate WNYW 5. Also the channel 7 logo shown on screen looks nothing at all like any current or past WABC 7 logo. Edit

      • Gary (to Esperanza): Why did your ex-boyfriend have to be a common drug lord? Why couldn't he have been one of those guys that airbrushes jean jackets at the mall? Edit
