Paige: I've missed you. And I've missed our, umm... (glances at Jared) Our... story... time. Ahem. That one story in the car, that was the best story I have ever heard.
Shane: Well, I, uh... You know, I thought of some new... stories. If you want me to read them to you.
Paige: (huge grin) Of course. Will you listen to some of mine, too?
Shane: Yeah. Yeah, I'd love to.
Alice: By the way, where were you guys?
Shane: For the...? Uh...
Paige: Wha-- what were we doing? Umm...
Shane: You know, we were just, uhhh... We were, umm (uncomfortable cough) reading, reading stories.
Alice: Oh! Stories. All day?
Paige: Yeah, it was kind of a whole box-set of, of, of stories, right?
Bette: (playing along) That was so sweet, that you were reading stories to Paige's son.
Alice: Really sweet, you guys.
Bette: (signs to Jodi what really happened) They were fucking all day.

In the episode, Helena mentions that Jenny is thinking about getting a pet monkey. In the behind-the-scenes video on OurChart.com, it's revealed that it was Mia Kirshner's idea that Jenny would have a monkey. She pitched the idea first to Ilene Chaiken, who shot it down, and then behind her back to writer Elizabeth Ziff, who actually wrote it in the script. However, the scenes were never shot and the subplot taken out because, according to exec producer Ilene Chaiken, that was a "production nightmare".
