Let me just start off by saying that all things considered I absolutely loved, loved, loved this episode! This episode was absolutely amazing! I thought that this episode was really, really, really funny. I absolutely loved Jenny in this episode. She was absolutely hilarious! Everyone's reactions to finding out about Jenny and Shane hooking up when they read Alice's text message were hilarious, especially Bette and Helena's reactions. I thought that Alice was absolutely hilarious in this episode. Phyllis was great too. I loved the scene where Phyllis hits on Bette and tells her that she's always had a thing for her. The only thing that I didn't like about this episode is that I wish that they had featured Helena a lot more than they did. All in all, I thought that this was a very well written, well acted and well made episode of The L Word from everyone involved, and I can't wait to see the next episode of The L Word.moreless

    ADD ALLUSIONS
    • Alice: (to Jenny, describing her movie treatment) It's kinda like Foul Play meets Mr. and Mrs. Smith, so it's got the romantic, you know, action-y, it's kinda got everything. Foul Play is a 1978 romantic comedy that starred Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn. The movie was considered a success and even inspired a brief TV series. Mr. and Mrs. Smith is a 2005 action/comedy film with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The movie shares a name with a 1941 Alfred Hitchcock comedy film. Edit
    • Jenny: Aren't you going to do Patrick Dempsey's hair for some kind of commercial this morning? Shane: No. Jenny: No? What are you doing then? Shane: I mean, um, I'm not. Who am I doing? I'm doing, um, Eric, uh, Eric Mabius. Petrick Dempsey is an actor best known for his role as Dr. Derek Shepherd on Grey's Anatomy. The reference to Eric Mabius is an inside joke for the show. Mabius played the role of Jenny's boyfriend, Tim Haspel, in season 1 of The L Word. At the time this episode aired, he starred in the ABC hit dramedy Ugly Betty. Edit
