Abby is upset when she realizes the role in which she was cast doesn't include any speaking parts and her face won't even appear on screen. Nick uses a one-night fling as inspiration for his comedy. Meanwhile, Raquel's talent agency lets her go as she works to sell her script, but she makes a new friend at Alcoholics' Anonymous. Kaldrick treats Tariq unfairly, attempting to hide his feelings for Tariq from the others at the recording studio. Alicia receives an offer to film a sex tape, and a lonely Connor starts to show signs that he might try to hurt himself.

LA Sure has a complex system of meeting people

I just saw this show for the first time, usually skip the CW but not wanting to watch another STUPID REALITY OR TALENT CONTEST SHOW I checked it out and thought it was pretty good. I like the character Nick Wagner who had a terrible comedy act until he used material from a miserable one night stand, much to the chagrin of the black out alcoholic who was in the audience. He took a bad one night stand and struck stand up gold. Another character trolls AA meetings to network. Other characters and situations look intriguing. This could be a pretty good show about how phoney people are in LA LA Land.moreless
