Denises devises a new line of enterprise as the only way to stand up to The Paradise and meets with the Tollgate Street shop owners persuading them to come together as a cooperative. Street displays and fidelity discounts soon translate in positive results greatly impressing Moray. However, the initial success is soon ruined due to squabbles amongst the small traders. Katherine's wedding preparations and plans for the future both for Moray and The Paradise meet Jonas' opposition. Moray is irritated by Katherine scheming behind his back while Lord Glendenning suggests that they should take an extended honeymoon to Europe.
