Episode Summary

After Link and Zelda save a beautiful dark haired maiden from a Gleeok, she rewards our hero with a kiss, much to Zelda's annoyance. But when the girl turns out to be a Gibdo in disguise, Link finds he's been turned into a frog by a magic spell! After Ganon kidnaps Zelda, Spryte and Link learn from the Triforce of Wisdom that the Witch of Walls would know of a cure that will return Link to normal in order to save Zelda. Will he do it? Or will he stay stuck as a frog beast for the rest of his life?

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • In the scene with the Triforce of Wisdom informing Link about the cure, part of the sheet covering Link disappears and reappears off and on.

  • QUOTES (8)

    • Zelda: Thank goodness you're here!
Link: Thank goodness you're here! You're the only one who can cure me!
Spryte: (stiffling a giggle) This is gonna be good!
      Zelda: How?
Link: You have to kiss me. Please! A princess' kiss is the only cure!
Zelda: Well, if its the only way... then of course I will!

    • Spryte: (Link snatches a bug and eats it, making her scream) Stop that!
      Link: Sorry, I missed lunch!

    • Triforce of Wisdom: The Witch of Walls can help you best, but to find her you must go on a quest; Seek the wall that has no end, beneath the bough that does not bend.

    • Spryte: (The Witch of Walls pops out of the wall) EEEEEKKKKKK! What is it ugly people day?

    • Witch of Walls: The cure is simple. You must be kissed by a princess of her own free will.
: You call that simple? You know how long I have been trying to get Zelda to kiss me? And that was when I didn't look like a frog. (croaks)
Witch of Walls: I said the cure was simple. I did not say it was easy!

    • Woman: My handsome hero, it's about time you got here.
Zelda: It's about time he got up.

    • Head #1: (Zelda comes to save the woman) Well, look who's here.
Head #2: Wrong one. We wanted Link.
      Head #1: Improvise.

    • Woman: Oh, won't some handsome hero save me from this three-headed freak?
Head #1: (The heads of the monster go to whisper something to her) Hey, watch the insults, will ya?
Head #2: Hey, that's not in the script.
Woman: I am getting into the part.
