      • Doc Holliday: I'm disappointed in you, Wyatt. Do you recall what Larousse Frachal said?
        Wyatt: No, sir.
Doc Holliday: He said, "It is necessary to live as one thinks. And Man usually ends by thinking as he has lived." And you think too much like a policeman.

      • Doc Holliday: You mind if, I uh, take my medicine along?
Wyatt: No, but put it under your coat.
Doc Holliday: Still hope for you, Wyatt.

      • Doc Holliday: I knew you'd come, Katie. I can always count on you. But I got to stay in jail this time.
        Kate: Why?
Doc Holliday: Marshal Earp interests me. He's intelligent. I'm bored and I want to study him.

      • Doc Holliday: All cell doors must be locked at once. The hard, unthinking fist of Johnny Law. Why didn't you arrest Mrs. Holliday for attempted jail break?
        Wyatt: Because I pity her.
        Doc Holliday: Why?
        Wyatt: She's married to you.
        Doc Holliday: So do I.

      • Wyatt: (to Doc) ou know the reason you hate everybody is you hate yourself. You enjoy making enemies. Well the worst enemy you ever made is yourself.

      • Judge Tobin: The court rules...
Doc Holliday: If the court please?
        Judge Tobin: Well?
Doc Holliday: I wish to state that I hold hard feelings against all of you for this stupid blundering. I don't like Dodge City or anyone in it. But Mrs. Holliday and I are leaving this town at our own convenience, not yours. Now the court may rule, sir.
        Judge Tobin: Thank you!
        Doc Holliday: You're welcome.

      • Cowboy: It's George Morris and Curly Bill. They're coming down Front Street.
        Doc Holliday: Not so loud.
Cowboy: Loud? Guns are going off, mister.
Doc Holliday: Shut up! I like to hear guns.
