      • Morgan: Don't go too hard on the man, Wyatt.
Wyatt: A drunk can kill you just as dead as a sober man, you know.

      • Doc Holliday: Deacon Earp would not approve of our association. Although by my bad example, I've turned hundreds away from strong drink.

      • Doc Holliday: Well, if your heart's set on working for Wyatt, I can help you get the job. But I must warn you, it isn't much of a job.
        Morgan: What's wrong with it?
Doc Holliday: As the insurance folk say, the life expectancy is limited.

      • Doc Holliday: You young fellas got a whisper in your ear that says, "It won't be me. It couldn't be me." (coughs) I used to hear that.
        Morgan: Hey, Doc, rest yourself.
Doc Holliday: Wait until the coughing has passed. Spell it C-O-F-F-I-N and you got a good pun.

      • Doc Holliday: Are you busy or just pretending?
        Wyatt: I'm busy.
Doc Holliday: Then you won't mind it if take up your time with useless arguin'.

      • Morgan: Thanks, Wyatt.
Wyatt: Thank Dr. Holliday, he's the font of all wisdom. Don't you get too friendly with him, though. I wish I hadn't.

      • Deputy Hal: Brocius and Ringo will bushwhack Morgan, that's what they'll do.
Doc Holliday: They can't hurt Morgan, he's still sprouting angel feathers.

      • Doc Holliday: Curly stumbled, you say?
        Wyatt: Yeah.
Doc Holliday: Well, that's one way it could have happened. Or maybe Brocius found himself shooting at a bright light. Maybe a voice whispered to Morgan saying, "Young man, you'll live forever."
        Wyatt: You drunk?
Doc Holliday: We'd sure like to hear that whisper once more, wouldn't we, Wyatt? But we're too darned deaf.
Wyatt: Yeah, Doc. I guess we are.
