The Life of Birds

Show Summary

Following the BBC's Private Life of Plants, Sir David Attenborough and the BBC bring us a 10 part look into the Life of Birds. Over the three years that it took for this series to be made, Attenborough travelled over a quarter million miles and the 48 cameramen and camerawomen involved worked in 42 countries on five continents. From fieldfairs in Sweden to bowerbirds in New Zealand we investigate how birds communicate, learn to fly, capture their food, attract their mates and raise their young.
