  • Teamwork

Toby and Osman are really working good together especially now he knows whats going on with Toby they never been closer than now. Which is really good to see, Marks is starting to trust him more resulting this case about the pathologist ending up dead on her balcony and Toby was just having drinks were last night. After a few little twists they finally get on the right track, but Mark and her boss are starting to get suspicious on how he knows the things that he does and seems to know information about it and ends up solving them. I look forward to see what happens next, this show is developing nicely in my opinion. P.S. this show is very unique your not going to see a show where you have an EMS guy that can read minds solving crimes. So it's refreshing to see something new and creative.moreless
  • Better ... much better.

Ok, this was a decent episode, it was plausible, structured and fairly watchable. One: that Ray character didn't pop up out of nowhere to give his "insightful" take on Toby's life, that was a relief. Two: Toby seems to have gotten over his ex pretty quickly! Though that's not necissarily a bad thing, I really hate it when they keep characters hung up on their exs, I mean it's not like they had a Shakspearian love story or anything! Three: Oz is still annoying as hell, and his childish excitement about Toby's ability is kinda irritating. And finally: I still think the cast sucks.

It was an improvement anyway, if the show keeps improving it might make it. Unlikely though ...moreless
  • Toby meets a beautiful girl who is later found dead. He tries to find out who the killer is before he or she gets away with it.

Another entertaining episode. They've all been good. This time a different story all together because it pertains to Toby's love life. Toby meets a young girl attracted to him. She is later found dead, and no one has an idea as to who the killer is or why she died.

It's up to Toby to discover who it is. As in previous episodes, Toby is the main guy uncovering everything.

We see a bit more in the way of trust by Detective Marks but not enough that we could call her competent.

Olivia isn't in the whole episode a lot which I liked. It was a Toby and Oz episode. We get this side story with Oz hooking up with a woman he helped. A lot of comedy here in this episode. There have been comedy bits in this episode but more here.

Oz using Toby telepathic skills to scope out the single women is hilarious and touching. Toby is such a good friend that he won't tell his friend that he won't tell him that the bartender he's attracted doesn't like him in the slightest. The writers then paired Oz with somebody more to his liking.

They made it unpredictable with Mina's death by making us consider whether it was a murder or was an accident brought upon by her medical history.

    It was good.moreless
  • I guess patience really is a virtue! Whooda thought Mom was right?!

I agree with Jane Doe in her review below, that the events of this episode were much more likely.

Its as though all the happenings of this episode take place within the structure of Toby's life. Up to now its pretty much been a confusing contest between his supposed life and getting the story line to fit into it.

I still felt I had to take a HUGE leap of faith over"borrowing"...of the medical records to make his point ( I can just see the Privacy Commissioner get his teeth into that one!), and hacking the cop car computer to ID his man. But I was willing for the sake of a much better story line.

    I have hopes..

I want more Colm Feore though...moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • In this episode we learn that Toby's favorite band is "The Replacements".

    • At the end of the episode, when the detective is viewing Toby's file, there is a letter with dates and ages that don't match the continuity of the rest of the series. The letter is dated 1990, but mentions property damage occurring in 2005. It also lists Toby as being 15 years old at the time; he is 24 in the present.

  • QUOTES (1)

    • Oz: (as he treats Elizabeth, a woman with a peanut allergy) Okay, you may experience some sweating, palpitations and nausea. That's okay. Don't worry. I have that effect on most women.
