After about 8 months of waiting, The Looney Tunes Show's 2nd Season finally premieres!

*The episode kicks off with Bugs offering Daffy an invitation to accompany him and Porky to see a movie, but Daffy declines in favor of watching an exercise video. We also see Taz for the first time in a long a while; I wonder if "the terror from down under" will appear more often this Season.

*The first thing that stood out to me in this episode is the new look. The colors look noticeably brighter here compared to the Season 1 episodes. I'm not too sure what to think of it yet, I'll have to give it some more thought.

*We soon hear a knock on the door. When Daffy answers it, he is greeted by Gossamer and 3 of his friends who ask him if he would be the coach of their school's water-polo team. At first he doesn't seem all that interested...but, of course, quickly changes his mind. I got a good chuckle out of Daffy calling himself "Coach Dr. Duck".

*Looks like this episode will be showcasing more of Porky's latest profession as a cader (which was briefly touched up on near the Season 1 Finale). Bugs doesn't seem too found of Porky's cooking...but he sure likes the recipes of Porky's grandma!

*I got a snicker out of Daffy calling the kids "Jennifer (#)", that's obviously going to backfire on him later. We did at least learn the real name of two of the other kids, "Andrew" and "Emily", that just leaves one kid's name unaccounted for.

*Daffy's interpretation of water-polo was a Crowning Moment of Funny! Though those poor horses are (understandably and rightfully so) panicking!

*Due to the above event, the Bobcat's practice sessions have to be moved to the pool in Bug's backyard. Uh Daffy, Porky makes a good point about the responsibilities of a coach.

*As expected, Daffy's nicknaming system backfired on him and he decides to just use "descriptive" nicknames instead (except for Gossamer, who he is still calling "Emily").

*I got a good chuckle out of Taz biting Daffy when the latter was trying to get the ball.

*Bugs' party is chalk full of cameos! Bugs is definitely addicted to Porky's food and refuses to let Porky cater to other potential clients! This brings the episode, Off Duty Cop, to mind.

*Uh Daffy, I think one cupcake isn't going to effect Gossamer's performance at water-polo badly. As expected, Witch Lezah is not thrilled that Gossamer din't listen to her about staying away from him.

*Daffy's "pep talk" to the Bobcats just being a summary of Rocky was a Crowning Moment of Funny! Wow, now he thinks he experienced the events of The Wizard of Oz!

*Wow, I gotta give Daffy credit for not blaming the team on the lose of the game and even take responsibility for the defeat! But he decides to switch the team goalie for next time.

*Woah, Bugs got a gut on him now! He offers an invitation for another party to Yosemite Sam. He refuses (and, apparently, so had the other "regular" cast members) and also warns Bugs to ease up on the buttery food. Kind of funny that Sam is the one to give this advice to Bugs; then again, he did give Bugs some decent advice in Peel of Fortune.

*After Sam refuses his invitation, Bugs receives a call from Porky. He tells his catering friend to whip up a lot of food and assures him others will be coming to the party...

*The Bobcats' second match didn't fair any better then their first and Daffy decides to make Andrew into the new goalie.

*There are, indeed, other people at Bugs' party, but a man named "Don" tells Porky that he (and, most likely, the other guests) were paid by Bugs to come. Bugs is still on an eating spree with that buttery food!

*It's halftime for the Bobcats' third match and Daffy is considering throwing in the towel.. until the kids points out the fact that Gossamer would make a great goalie!

*We are then treated to a montage of the Bobcats' winning streak, but Gossamer looks quite sad...

*Daffy returns home to tell Bugs that Bobcats have made it to the finals now! The rabbit says that calls for a party...

*Bugs' current appearance reminds me of Mayor Shelbourne from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. I did find Daffy being unable to tell what changed about Bugs pretty funny, I must admit.

*Bugs and Porky arrive to the water-polo finals where Porky tries to convince his friend to lay off the food, but Bugs is still clueless about the situation.

*The game almost begins and the kids notice Gossamer is missing! Luckily, he's just in the locker room and Daffy goes in to talk to him.

*Gossamer reveals that he isn't having fun and would rather loose and have fun then to win and not have fun. Daffy shows his kind side by understanding the boy's feelings and willing to not get the trophy. Daffy and Gossamer's heart to heart moment was a Crowning Moment of Heart Warming and shows Daffy as a Jerk with a Heart of Gold.

*As expected, the Bobcats lost but still had fun and thank Daffy by playfully throwing him into the pool...forgetting that he can't swim (which is pretty ironic as he's a duck)!

*Bugs' slow motion rescues was a priceless nod to Bay Watch and Daffy finally figured out what changed about Bugs.

*Marvin's music video was pretty funny. Interesting that this Merrie Melody was near the end of the episode, rather then the middle of it.

*The Bobcats celebrate their fun game by treats made by Porky. Bugs goes back to eating carrots and Daffy is putting away the food now, much to Porky's dismay.

Great way to start up Season 2! It was nice to give Gossamer another "spotlight episode" and se Bugs' "not so above it all" persona again. We also got to see some of Daffy's good qualities to show that even though he is mostly a jerk, he still has some redeemable qualities. I'm still not too sure what I think of the show's new look, though. In any case, it's great to have new episodes of The Looney Tunes Show back!moreless
