Continuity: When Maple White passes through one of the time ripples after meeting Challenger and supposedly meets his unfortunate fate with a t-rex his hair is long. But in the first episode when he is running from the t-rex his hair is short, assuming in the first episode he just came out of the time ripple.
Mud wouldn't stop cave gas from escaping under such a high pressure. You can see right away they are using fire extinguishers to create the gas. Where is the light in that cave coming from? It should be pitch black.
There is no blood on the sword when Mordren stabs Veronica's father.
Roxton said the whole place looks overgrown. Finn says everything was covered with chemicals and radiation and they haven't seen the sun in 10 years. How could plants possibly overgrow? That whole place should be a desert.
In the cave after the rock bridge collapses, when Marguerite lies on the ground reaching over the edge for Roxton, her boots are hiking boots. When they are on the other side of the cavern her boots are smooth soled again.
Since the rock of the meteor absorbs heat and creates cold, blowing it up would simply break it into smaller chunks that would still absorb heat.
Why does Veronica need to chase Askwith to get him back to the ship if he would just magically appear on it as soon as it arrives? Why not just let him run and he would end up on it anyway?
If the blimp was crashing every night for seven years, why is this the first time it's been seen?
When Marguerite and Roxton fall into the pit and she gets up from the ground, there is no debris in her hair. Then the debris appears (and perhaps disappears in one shot) while she and Roxton are looking at the treasure chest.
Also Pappin sports a pair of muzzle-loading pistols that he fires more than once without reloading when he is shooting at Veronica and Roxton who are holed up in Pappin's shack.
How did they carry Marguerite covered in blood from the temple to the treehouse through the forest without her blood attracting dinosaurs?
When Alex is glowing hot how do his clothes not burn up. Then a little later he can melt through a rope made to withstand lava. Did he drink Marguerite's wine in the beginning when he is in the tree house because I think she offered it to him but I don't know if he drank it? He probably didn't because water kills kobolds.
Revealing Mistakes: Danielle says, "I've been admiring this photograph." How would she know what a photograph is even if she sees one? She was born on the plateau where they don't have photography.
Revealing Mistakes: How did the skeletons clone Roxton and Marguerite's clothes and their weapons as well and why would they if the clones are just used to grow skeletons?
Continuity: When Marguerite is fleeing the treehouse from Challenger, Veronica and Malone, Ned pulls off a piece of Marguerite's skin from her bare left shoulder blade. We immediately see Marguerite running through the jungle, but no skin is gone from her left shoulder blade.
Summerlee dies in this episode and in the next season, Tribune says he saw him floating out and over a waterfall.
This is kind of a cross over from this episode to the one in season two of the conclusion of this episode. Roxton has his hair cut when he is saved from the river.
When Drakul allows Thane to pursue Challenger's party, he says,"Then go, and take three men with you." When Thane's pursuit party catches up with two of Challenger's party, Summerlee and Marguerite, we see that Thane has five men with him.
Before Summerlee and Marguerite are captured, Marguerite's pant leg is soaked with blood. When they are being led into the camp, the blood is gone. It then reappears when they are inside the tent.
Wouldn't Egyptians speak ancient Egyptian? Why do they speak English? All the tribes seem to speak English, even ancient ones. Maybe it just solves the communication problem with the explorers otherwise the episodes would be really long and hard to understand.
Challenger indicates that the carving is made of whale bone? There are whales on the plateau? That village is pretty exposed. Couldn't a t-rex just run in and kill everyone? Why is Challenger convinced he will find an ocean route off the plateau? Since Veronica lived there shouldn't she be able to tell him that Inland Sea is just a lake?
