A band of modern-day pirates is seeking to hijack a tanker ship for its $4 million worth of fuel. They have coerced a merchant seaman to help them by kidnapping his wife, who had just gotten a role as Tony Blake's stage assistant. Bill Bixby blinked while doing a crucial move of the Quarter To Silver Dollars effect. Blinking while performing a secret move is a common tendency among learning magicians, apparently due to the subconscious belief that if WE don't see the secret move being performed, the AUDIENCE won't either. Unfortunately, long experience has shown this not to be a valid assumption.
Edit
In this episode, Tony Blake taught an assistant (and the viewing audience) a trick--how to turn a quarter into two silver dollars. This trick is also taught in Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic (Mark Wilson was the Technical Director for the show). The effect is used to add a humorous element to the ending of the show, as Tony Blake's assistant mistakenly holds the coins in the opposite way she is supposed to!
Edit
This episode featured a return to the background music heard in the original pilot episode.

Tony: For in, above, about, below, 'tis nothing but a magic shadow show, played in a box, whose candle is the sun, round which we phantom figures come and go.
