Tony Blake is doing a benefit performance on a casino boat when a robbery takes place. As far as the police are concerned, the prime suspect in the crime is Tony's friend, boat operator Ed Cassidy (played by William Shatner), but Tony sets out to prove him innocent.moreless
This is really a nitpick, but it seems funny that Tony Blake, the man with the photographic memory, for the first time in the series has to actually write something down (the license plate of the robber's helicopter), though he pretends he's just getting the phone number of the home he claims he's interested in buying.
Edit
This is the only episode of the second half of the season in which Max Pomeroy (Keene Curtis) makes an appearance, though Dennis Pomeroy (Todd Crispi) is not seen. Joseph Sirola (Dominick) also stars. According to an article about the show in Television Chronicles #5 by Ed Robertson, "although the segment was filmed while Curtis was still on board, it was not broadcast until after the series had been revamped; thus, a scene with Sirola was filmed and edited into the beginning of the show."
Edit
This episode begins a running gag, repeated through the second half of the series, of Dominick trying (and failing) to figure out how Tony Blake does his illusions.

Casino Robber: That's a real gun in your back. If you want to avoid the feeling of a real bullet making a real hole, you'd take my friend to the security room, gather up all the green, and wait.
Edit
Ed Cassidy: You know, something doesn't add up. You're not fattening, you're not illegal. How come you're so much fun?
Edit
Ed Cassidy: Tony, I'd like to give you an idea off the top of my head but the top of my head is coming right off!
