Episode Summary

A politician is due to pay a visit to Four Corners and a dead assassin is found in the hotel, plus $10,000 in cash. The money proves a magnet for trouble, both among strangers and amongst the Seven, who are suddenly faced with temptation in different forms. Ezra in particular finds the money difficult to resist and quickly finds himself at odds with Chris. Ezra starts questioning whether Chris actually trusts him and is forced into intraspection about whether he himself is worthy of trust. A new assassin arrives in town and the Seven must find him before he succeeds with his mission.moreless

      • Nathan: Wonder what kind of monster uses a weapon like that.
Vin: I don't rightly know. But if I'd have had a rifle like this when I was a bounty hunter...
Nathan: Big difference between bounty hunting and murder.
Vin: Maybe. But if a man is wanted alive or dead, it might be easier if he's dead. You lie in wait. You take him down. You get paid for him being dead. Same as Lucius Stutz. I'm just saying with a gun like this...and so much money...might make a monster out of any man.
Nathan: Except a man who knows better.

      • Ezra: See, it's just that, um, all my life I've always gotten that... look, you know, that tilt of the head, that - that question in the eye - can I trust him? You know, I always hoped that my friends knew me better.
