When a space capsule crashes in the ocean near the Cetacean, Mark and Elizabeth agree to investigate. When they arrive Mark is rendered unconscious by a screeching sound. They discover hundreds of strange, blue, intelligent spores that take over Mark's body attempting to find a way back into space. However they don't know Mark will die if he does not return to water within a few hours.moreless
  • Mark is taken over by semi-invisible creatures from out of this world.

Enjoyable episode as long as you're able to overlook the gigantic plotholes.

Whoever thought of bringing a space capsule aboard a submarine, open the airlock, admire it, talk about and only then put it in some mobile quarantine device. What's the use of a quarantine device when it's already been into contact with the sub's atmosphere??

Apart from several of these storyline issues, this episode was fun to watch. I love how they drop Mark from a helicopter in a pool and how Elizabeth dives in after him. Nevermind the headlines. I also never realised how much Miller and Elizabeth take C.W. for granted.moreless
