  • Solo and Illya race against time to save an Indian subcontinent political figure from assassination.

This was one of the better third season episodes. Typical UNCLE, too, with the "innocent" having a gimmick, i.e., a tooth that received radio signals. The villain has a neat gimmick, too, which was an explosion triggered by the political figure sneezing into a handkerchief.

Bernard Fox played a fairly menacing character, too, not unlike the one he played in the second season two parter, "The Bridge of Lions Affair".

"The Thor Affair" avoided most, if not all, of the silliness and attempt at camp that pervaded the third season as UNCLE tried to draw in the "Batman" audience. As usual, the soundtrack was sensational.moreless
