  • K'nuckles shares his views on women, and Flapjack helps K'nuckles grow a beard! (Sort of!) :!:

It's no secret that "The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack" has become yet another Cartoon Network show that has warmed its way into my heart, but just what is it about this show that draws me to watch it? Well for one thing, the characters (however odd they might be) have very distinct 3-dimensional personalities. Captain K'nuckles doesn't think much of women because most women don't think much of him. So Flapjack gets a store mannequin with hat, dress, and mirror, in order to give K'nuckles his first good experience with a woman. Of course, even Flapjack is surprised with how good the plan works when K'nuckles actually Marries the mannequin! Talk about weird love connections? And speaking of weird, what could be weirder than Peppermint Larry's annual Beard-off? Practically nothing! Because all matters of people with beards that have design, versatility, and talent have come in order to win the hand of Peppermint Larry's candy daughter! Captain K'nuckles doesn't plan on entering because his whiskers are far too deadly for the normal viewing populace. But as it turns out, K'nuckles has never been blessed with real whiskers of his own and has to wear fake whiskers. But Flapjack wants to prove to K'nuckles, its not the beard that makes the adventurer, it's the adventurer that makes the beard! Or something like that. Anyways, Flapjack covers himself with glue and hair in order to look like a beard, and plants himself on K'nuckles face. Unfortunately, neither Flapjack nor K'nuckles have a clue on how to win a beard-off. But Flapjack is determined to do it his own way. For the final part of the competition, which is talent, Flapjack jumps off the Captain's face, dancing! Making it appear as though K'nuckles beard is so talented, it can dance by itself! But all that dancing makes Flapjack's glued-on hair fall off! But before anything dire can befall the two protagonists, their saved when the winner (a bearded lady no less) wins the hand of Peppermint Larry's huge Adopted human girl named Candy! :D That's funny! Enough said, true believers! ;)moreless
