  • Trivia

    • Janet MacLachlan's character is referred to as Chris Wilson throughout the episode, but she's credited as Sherry Wilson in the closing credits.

    • In this episode, Mary is trying to find a candidate to interview for Face the People, a Sunday news program that discusses political issues of the day. This is a spoof on the actual CBS program Face the Nation which has been running on Sunday mornings since 1954.

    • Goof: Bill Daly's character, Pete Peterson, says in this episode to Rhoda that he just came back from attending a Bar Mitzvah. The problem is, it is a Sunday evening, and Bar Mitzvah services are nearly always done on Saturdays, and in the mornings at that.
