Channel Surfer: Still hedging, Mask? What if we throw in, at no additional cost, an entire post office full of zombies?
Mask: Right, (laughs) like anyone can tell the difference!
Channel Surfer: If you want me, you poor excuse for a test patern, you're gonna have to come and get me.
(Mask tapes him on the back):
Channel Surfer: In this world, I control the vertical. I control the horizontal.
This is a parody of the opening sequence for the TV series The Outer Limits. Each show would begin with a cold open, followed by a narration from someone identifying himself as the Control Voice, which was played over visuals of an oscilloscope, saying: "There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical."
