Haruhi: I want you to take those fools from the Computer Club... AND BEAT THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF THOSE GEEK BOYS!
Kyon: [thinking] Wouldn't it be better if we just raised the white flag now?
Haruhi: It's time to launch the (bleep)-dams! (What appear to be pixelated Gundams appear from the deck and shoot their lasers)
Haruhi: Anyone accepting defeat will be punished by running ten laps around the school, naked! And you'll have to yell "Green Martians are chasing me!" for the whole ten laps!
(The battle has begun)
Haruhi: This conflict is only the beginning! We will eliminate all obstacles and the SOS Brigade will become known on the far reaches of the universe! Eventually, I'll negotiate with the Board of Education and create chapters of the SOS Brigade in all public high schools! Even if we've all but won already nobody is allowed to hold back!
Kyon: (In his mind) What is this confidence made from? Two milligrams will do. Just share some with me.
Haruhi: Really? Want me to inject a bit into you?
Computer Society President: H-Honor to the Computer Society!
(His ship blows up)
Chronologically, this is the 13th episode of the series.
Space Battleship Yamato (Star Blazers): In the computer game, the Computer Club Leader has a blue-green complexion and holds a goblet in his hand, similar to the main enemy leader, Desslock, in the first season.
Epson: The laptops the SOS Brigade was using were made by Espon, a clear allusion to Epson, a company perhaps better known for its printers and scanners.
Gundam: During the computer battle, Haruhi tells Kyon to launch something, but the word she uses is bleeped out. Haruhi's censored word is "Gundam", and the thing Kyon launched is a Gundam, however it was blurred out. Moreover, when Kyon launches it, he says, "I'm launching!" This is an homage to one of the most famous quotes of the Gundam series, said by the first series' main character Amuro.
