wow this battle was a surprising blast of action.
  • Kyon has gotten to almost the end of his rope!

Kyon, after Haruhi gotten into a desparate day, comes into a letter about coming after school. In the direction, he meets Ryoko Asakura, who now a serial killer alienoid, made by Yuki's creators. Too bad, Ryoko! Nagato then beats the crud out of Ryoko, who dissaperes out of sight. Nagato, hurt from the battle, starts recreating the classroom. But, for some reason, no glasses. Kyon states that she looked cuter that way. Aww..

The next day, a new letter. This time, it was from Mikuru.. the future, future Mikuru! She reminds Kyon of the Snow White story, and tells about some super secret, then leaves. But, uh-oh! Haruhi is desperate to thinking that Ryoko is gone! Gosh again!

Well, I thought that episode had the BEST fight scene in any anime. But, on the count, I think this episode is good, and it actually gives out romanticness, sci-fieness, and actioness. Love this show, but this episode takes the cake.moreless
  • An exceptionally brilliant episode of an already fabulous anime.

    9.3
This episode contains one of my favourite scenes in the whole series! I usually prefer an anime with good fight scenes, but, even if this episode contains the ONLY fight scene in Haruhi, it was probably one of my favourite anime fight scenes, and probably why Yuki ranks so high in my anime character ratings (though, Minori Chihara may have something to do with it...and don't get me wrong...I watch the dub). The fight between Yuki Nagato and Ryoko Asaskura was amazing! And it was brilliantly rounded off with a quick, humorous scene, as well as a rather unexpected piece of dialog from Yuki; 'What's a glasses fetish?' Man, I LOVE the way she said that!

The animation was brilliant, and the plot was great! I loved it! I would have given a higher rank, but other parts of this episode weren't too fabulous, still good, though. Y'know, just with older Mikuru, and I guess I'm not really too fond of 'Miss Asahina'...or Kyon really either. This was also an example of one of the more 'pervy' scenes in this anime, which are pretty much ALWAYS based around poor Mikuru and her rather large breasts.

    Overall, I enjoyed this episode.moreless

    • Asakura: (To Kyon) I've grown quite tired... of observing a static subject. That's why I'll kill you and see how Haruhi Suzumiya responds.

    • (After being saved by Nagato)
Kyon: (In his mind) Or this isn't the time for that. Now that I stop and think about it, I just went through an incredible experience, didn't I? That winding freak talk of of Nagato's the other day... This is no longer about whether or not I believe that delusional story. I was about ready to piss my pants during the incident just now. I was seriously about to die. Doesn't this mean I have no choice but to accept that... Nagato is genuinely related to aliens or whatever?
