  • Black Winged Redbird

Some good moments here, but also some weird developments throughout. I think the Red John aspect has Jumped the Shark and I don't like the idea of the list of 7 being revealed. Red John's revelation should be a surprise.

So, with the whistling clue, they've cut it down to 2. The bad guy from Dollhouse and the bad guy from Nikita. My moneys on Percy!
  • Disappointing

After last week's promising premiere, this episode didn't really deliver.

It was mostly about a new non-Redjohn case, that I'm afraid every average viewer immediately solved: the last supper, the few words exchanged with the policeman, everything made it obvious who the "killer" was, then the rest of the episode focused on the "why".

The good thing about it was the victim, the talented puppeteer from Heroes, remember him? Although we don't see much of him here.

Another Heroes ex-star is the newest Red John victim, that we actually don't see at all (just in a short flash-back). The new light her posthumous testimony casts upon the ever elusive killer is actually not new at all, just more of vague traits that could fit any of the seven suspects, and many other people too.

Same thing with the meeting between three of the suspects: nothing new there either. We already got that those guys were connected in more ways than just "one of them is RJ but which one", the recent plotting between Bertram and Kirkland comes to mind.

This episode is more of a memory helper, really, with the now 6 suspects appearing in close view and often slow motion, so you won't miss much if you miss it.

Some actual progress next week, please?
