    wow, i'm glad i found this, i was actually about to start a forum like this my self. So my question is, did Patricks wife know that he wasn't really psycic

    I dont really know, i think it has somthing to do with Red John, you know the guy that killed Patricks wife and kids, look on wikipedia, it has the answer to pretty much everything

    what exactly is Patricks role within the team? Is he just an adviser?

    I have missed quite a few episodes from earlier on in the series.

    Yes he is a consultant only..it keeps getting mentioned that he is not an agent n doesnt carry a gun/badge

    After a bit of searching, I found the Q&A thread!

    Okay, so my question is, do we know the names of Jane's deceased wife and daughter? or how old his daughter was when they were murdered?

    The only thing we know is that his daughter was rather young, though the exact age we don't know for sure. Nothing else has never been said and neither have either ever been seen on the program in flashbacks. Perhaps that's something else to explore later this season.

    There was a flashback scene of Jane's wife and daughter in "Redwood" (S01E05), where his daughter plays the piano and his wife sits next to her. His daughter appears to be like five or six years old in this flashback, but we don't know how old she was when she was murdered.

    I can only assume that she did know since it was revealed in S2E1 that she begged him to stop (taking advantage of people I guess).
