Five of Jack Benny's closest friends and co-workers gather on Merv's show to reminisce and pay tribute to their old boss.
Milt Josefberg, whose new book,"The Jack Benny Show", has just come out, provides much of the coloring.
Phil Harris and Dennis Day each sing a song.
Mel Blanc does imitations and all recall their first meetings with Jack.
Also included are clips with Jack on the Merv Griffith show shortly before his death, and one from Here's Lucy, in which Jack and Lucy go down into a specially built bank vault and get caught in quicksand. Don Wilson is also a guest.
