The kid who plays Brick looks like he has some sort of physical problems, they never really show him walking more than a step or two, he seems almost like he has a form of little people syndrome, Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this?

A few sources have reported (or rumored) that Atticus Shaffer has brittle bone syndrome and has broken one of his legs multiple times, which is why he walks with that limp.

What is the given name of Brick's character? I assume "Brick" is merely a nickname, right?

My wife and I noticed this as well but we both think he (Atticus Shafer) is one of the cutest kids on TV and wish him all the best.

Love the show and all the cast members. Hope this show goes on and on.

No. He played "the kid at the bus stop" in the movie Hancock.
Right at the very beginning when Will Smith is laying on the bench.

Wow, it certainly doesn't sound good - hopefully he doesn't suffer with it too much! Thanks for the link jekyll.
