Great Thanksgiving episode of The Middle. This show has not made one error yet, this is becoming one of my favorite family comedies, and we're only 8 episodes in. All the characters are likable, and the interactions are entertaining. We got a heartwarming yet funny ending with Drunk Frankie, I liked how Thanksgiving tied in with Frankie's boss and his wife leaving him which resulted in Frankie having a drunk Thanksgiving.

Sue's boyfriend was pretty funny as well, and I'm interested in seeing future dynamics between the two, and also looking forward to when Sue will find out, or what will cause their breakup, I'm only guessing it will be funny. The best scene of the entire episode was definitely when Frankie said what everyone's favorite thing about Thanksgiving was, it was realistic and hilarious.

Axl losing Brick in the corn maze was surprisingly heartwarming, when push comes to shove, this family all care for each other, no matter what. Superb installment of The Middle, love this show!moreless

    • In one scene Mr. Ehlert tells Frankie that the car dealership would be open on Easter and that she would have to work. However, according to Indiana state law, car dealerships are prohibited from being opened on Sundays, and since Easter is always a Sunday there is no way the dealership would be allowed to be open anyway. Edit
    • Mike knocks on his dad's door and his dad moves the "Montgomery Ward" Post-It note from the door and sticks it to the curtain beside the inside door pillar. As the scene moves between cuts, the Post-It note moves up and onto the door pillar and finally disappears altogether and is replaced by two totally different Post-It notes saying "At Garage Sale back in 5" and "At the Jump back in 5 min". • (Mike, Brick, Axl and Sue all discuss their plans for Thanksgiving much to Frankie's chagrin)
Frankie: Do you people realize what I have gone through this week to make Thanksgiving happen? And now you guys don't appreciate...
      (interrupted by a car honking)
Axl: There's my ride. (to Frankie) I figured once my friends came to pick me up for snowmobiling, you'd be too embarrassed to say no. Frankie: You figured wrong.
