  • Al Green is the greatest, wish this show was on DVD

Awesome! I remember seeing this show as a teen and it was awesome. To bad this kind of quality show and music is no longer available to us. I wish it was on DVD for those of us who can appreciate genuine singing and top notch performances. The Midnight Special was A-1 and there hasn't been anything close to it since it stopped airing. I appreciate the unbias and nondiscriminating way it put forth artist of every creed and color, it was the music that was important. The Midnight Special was musically correct and this was what made it so special.moreless
