  • THE MIDNIGHT SPECIAL AIRED ON FRIDAYS NOT ON SATURDAY.

    5.0
I would like to correct a crtical error that is made on the original air time of the Midnight Special. I was 16 years old and about to start my jumior year in high school when I first saw the original pilot of The Midnight Special on NBC which aired on Friday (NOT SATURDAY) August 19, 1972 at 1:00 am immediately following The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Because its high ratings due to lack of competition it was picked for a regular run starting on Fridays (NOT SATURDAYS) at 1:00 am following The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson that last over 8 years until Friday, May 9, 1981. Please correct this as soon as you possibly can !!!!!!moreless
