Noel Fielding has high hopes for his film version of The Mighty Boosh - he wants a trilogy.

Fielding's Mighty plans for movie

The comedian revealed to Absolute Radio's Ben Jones he and comedy partner Julian Barratt are writing the film at the moment and already have enough ideas for more Mighty Boosh movies.

Noel said: "Hopefully, I like the road movies with Bing and Bob, hopefully we could just do lots - that would be great if we could do that."

He added: "There's a couple of ideas for films, there's one we've got quite far into, and then there's one that's sort of quite a good idea that we're just working out now.

"And then there's one that's like a musical, like a Rocky Horror type thing, and then there's an album as well, so lots hopefully coming, it's just we need to do some writing.

"It took us two years to ...

Shooting Stars: Reeves and Mortimer stuck in the past

Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer bounced back onto BBC2 on Wednesday night with their resuscitated 90s panel show, Shooting Stars. The hosts' questions ("Jeremy Kyle is king of the Gypsies: true or false?" and "Name someone with a face") were pleasingly snigger-worthy. But watching this pair of greying coots trot out familiar catchphrases and routines prompted more groans than guffaws. The One Show's Christine Blakely suffered through Reeves hackneyed letching and thigh rubbing, while Mortimer's unadventurous brown shirt and sallow complexion screamed, "I'm too old for this! Call me a cab." It was half an hour of predictable, awkward irreverence. What was fresh, edgy and hilariously perturbing 15 years ago now seems stagnant.

It feels unkind to crucify Vic and Bob for their uninspired revival. Few comics ...

Welcome to The Mighty Boosh guide. Come with us now on a journey through time and space... to the world of The Mighty Boosh... Written by and starring Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt, The Mighty Boosh is an off-the-wall adventure based on their Perrier award-winning comedy show. In the first series, The Mighty Boosh is a show about two zoo keepers, Howard Moon and Vince Noir, who work at "The Zoo-niverse", a dilapidated but magical zoo. It is run by Bob Fossil, a demented American with a military disposition. Vince is a regular 'Mowgli in flares', due to his affinity with animals and adoration for all things Seventies. Howard likes to think he is more the brains of their zoo-keeping outfit, destined for better things. Each week they get involved in a different adventure. Whether they end up in the Arctic tundra or monkey hell they somehow always manage to get back to the zoo intact. In the second series, the plot focuses on Vince and Howard's journey to become a successful band. The two move in with Naboo and Bollo, and hijinks ensue. This series introduces the characters of Tony Harrison, Saboo, Kirk, and the Head Shaman. In the third series, Vince and Howard are shopkeepers at the Nabootique. Crimping becomes an artform, being the focus of the episode "The Power of the Crimp." The show becomes increasingly surreal and satirical.moreless
