Martha Mitchell co-hosts; guests are sportscaster Howard Cosell, comedienne Fannie Flagg, The Earl Scruggs Revue and Dr. Robert Akeret.
Good episode. Some of the episode dealt with Howard Cosell's recently-released paperback version of his book "Cosell." Dr. Akeret, a psychologist, "analyzed" some of the photos inside the book, including one of Cosell at Seaworld looking away as a killer whale leaps out of the pool. Akeret theorizes that Cosell has a great ability to "detach" himself from events. Cosell answers (in typical Cosellian staccato): "The truth of the matter is I was scared to death and wouldn't look at the damned whale."
