A host of very mod camera tricks and techniques indeed, some of which came off a bit hokey. But the sudden jumps between scenes (with no establishing material at all) played rather well I thought, and added to the riotous pell-mell feel of this one, where no one can be trusted. Fortunately the twisteroo at the end not only salvaged the episode from being a bit too predictable, but it fit perfectly into that "Who knows who your friends and enemies are?" mood. Additionally, the guy from Peyton Place was perfectly cast as the closet looney on the lam. And Julie gets to show her caring side (as well as feeling like a bit of a hired gun in places), Linc sits (or stands) on the sidelines and fires off some of his low-key wisecracks, and Pete gets all possessive and ballistic whenever he thinks Jules is in danger. On the whole, a well-nigh definitive episode of The Squad. :)
