  • The Final Episode. Three People Left. Two Contestants. And The Mole...

    Craig.

    John.

    Liz.

One of these people will walk away with $203,000. Another will walk away with nothing, while the remaining person will be revealed as the mole, the person whose mission was to prevent the other contestants from winning the challenges, to stop them from winning the money.

Now, I have watched all seasons of this terrific show, and I call this the best "reality" show in existence. Its clever, thought-provoking, challenging, the public don't vote on the one to be eliminated, and the contestants don't gang up on one person to eliminate. The one eliminated is merely the one who knew the least about the mole's identity (determined through a computer quiz). This season wasn't the shows best season, due to the change of host from Grant Bowler to Tom. Grant was perfect as host, while Tom bumbles along, and does not have the presence that Grant had. However, aside from that, this has been a great season of The Mole. Each week I selected the person whom I believed to be the mole. I would only ever change my mind if my selection was eliminated. On night one, I said that Liz was the mole, so you can understand my surprise when I saw that she made it to the final episode. I was fairly confident that she was the mole (but then again I was positive in the previous season - then Nikki was eliminated - but I still claim that I was correct there. She was 19 years old, while her details in the start of the episode showed she was 18, and when asked how old she was she made a mistake and corrected herself. Grant also mentioned she was 19, when another image showed she was 18. Oh well, I'll quit complaining now)

This was agreat episode, as I said earlier. The challenges were terrific, which led them to a train where all would be revealed. I did not like the fact that they brought the solution back to the live studio, where a model of a train had been set up to represent the real one, and the contestants walked out of the model, but that's a small, manageable problem with the episode. I won't spoil the results here, but I would reccommend this episode, this season, and the whole series to anyone.moreless
  • The Mole reveals itself finally!

This episode we finally find out who the mole is and it was a very interesting result as John reveals himself as the Mole and wins a trip around the world. Liz on the other hand wins $203,000 for indentifying him and Craig walks away with nothing. Overall the best episode yet and John's work as the Mole, superb.
